Benjamin K. Barton, AAI, CIC
President
Ben joined the family business in 1979 after graduating from Springfield College, Springfield, MA earlier that year. The prospect of meeting people and solving problems has made the insurance business a natural fit. In 1985 Ben bought the business from his father, Carlton F. Barton, and continues operations in New London and Contoocook, NH. Ben has been awarded the Certified Insurance Counselor and Accredited Advisor in Insurance designations, which are industry educational achievements. Active in Civic Organizations, Ben is a member of Lions International, serving as President of the New London Lions Club and as a Mason is a Past Master of King Solomon’s Lodge, also in Elkins, NH. Ben and his wife Deborah reside in New London and have five grown children.

Heidi L. C. Currier, AAI, CIC
Heidi applied for a position at the agency in June of 1991 after graduating from North Adams State College that same year. Heidi has been awarded the Certified Insurance Counselor and Accredited Advisor in Insurance designations, indicative of higher educational achievement in the insurance industry. As the Office Manager for the agency, Heidi brings a high level of dedication to the agency, its clients, and the companies the agency represents. Heidi is a Sunapee, NH native, and along with her husband and two children live there to this day.

Deborah E. Shatney
Debbie was hired in March of 2008 after several years in the industry with a direct writer. As a licensed insurance agent, Debbie is a personal lines specialist working out of the Contoocook Office. With her pleasant personality, Debbie is very comfortable in the customer service role. She, her husband and their 2 children reside in Contoocook, NH.

Jennifer E. Hastings
A new comer to the insurance industry, Jennifer joined the agency in September of 2008. She immediately obtained her NH Property & Casualty License, and works out of the New London office as a personal lines Customer Service Agent. With her quick wit and sense of humor, she is able to bring a smile to those that meet her. Although she has just entered the industry, she has shown the willingness to learn and is eager to grow in her new role as a property and casualty agent.
